New Semi-Professional Football League Coming To The Ark-La-Tex

by NLFA PR

The Ark-La-Tex has a new semi-professional football league, and it's called the North Louisiana Football Alliance, or NLFA. The league hinted at its arrival around the beginning of April with a welcoming announcement via the league's Facebook and Twitter accounts.

The NLFA's inaugural spring season is set to begin March 2020, with 8 teams located locally here in the Ark-La-Tex. The league will host two divisions - Eastern and Western, with a 10-week regular season, followed by play-offs and a league championship game in June.

The NLFA plans to give local football fans that "next level" experience, leaving them with a different impression of semi-professional football. The NLFA will be utilizing a combination of rules used by the now-defunct AAF and the NCAA.
