About Us

About the North Louisiana Football Alliance (NLFA)

The North Louisiana Football Alliance (NLFA) is a spring developmental football league dedicated to serving young men ages 18–24 across the Ark-La-Tex region, including North Louisiana, East Texas, and Southern Arkansas. Founded to bridge the gap between high school, college, and adulthood, the NLFA provides structured football competition alongside intentional workforce development, life skills training, and mentorship.

More than a football league, the NLFA operates as a regional development platform. We use the game of football to teach accountability, discipline, teamwork, and leadership—while connecting participants to career pathways, job training opportunities, and community resources that support long-term success beyond the field.

Each spring, NLFA athletes compete in a professionally organized environment that emphasizes player safety, film exposure, statistics tracking, and personal development. At the same time, participants engage in workforce readiness programming designed to prepare them for employment, skilled trades, military service, or continued education.

Our Mission

The mission of the North Louisiana Football Alliance is to develop young men ages 18–24 through football, workforce training, and life skills education—equipping them with the tools to succeed as athletes, employees, and leaders in their communities.

We are committed to providing accessible opportunities for individuals who may not be pursuing college athletics, ensuring that talent, effort, and character are met with structure, guidance, and real-world opportunities.

Our Vision

The NLFA envisions a stronger Ark-La-Tex region where young adults are prepared for both the workforce and life, using football as a catalyst for personal growth, economic mobility, and community impact.

We aim to become a recognized model for developmental sports leagues—one that integrates athletics with workforce development, supports local employers and institutions, and creates sustainable pathways for young people to transition successfully into adulthood.

Our Focus Areas

  • Ages 18–24 Development: Serving recent high school graduates, including eligible 18-year-olds in their final year of high school, and young adults seeking structure, purpose, and opportunity.
  • Workforce Development: Partnering with employers, trade programs, military recruiters, and community organizations to expose participants to viable career paths.
  • Player & Personal Development: Emphasizing accountability, professionalism, leadership, and life skills alongside football instruction.
  • Regional Impact: Strengthening communities across the Ark-La-Tex through local competition, mentorship, and economic engagement.

The North Louisiana Football Alliance exists to prove that football can be more than a game—it can be a launchpad for life.
