We are launching a select dance and spirit team of the NLFA — and you have the opportunity to be part of a team that’s not just exciting, but impact-driven. This team will bring energy to the field and inspiration to the community.

We are a dance-based performance team rooted in spirit, leadership, and mentorship. While we incorporate cheer elements, this is a dance-forward squad designed for passionate individuals ready to perform with purpose.

Our team directly aligns with the NLFA’s mission to bridge the gap for underserved young adults, offering opportunities not only in athletics but also in life. Together, we’re creating a platform that uplifts, develops, and empowers.

Just like the NLFA’s athletes, our cheerleaders gain real experience, life prep, and leadership tools — not just movement skills.

What You'll Do?

•    Perform and represent at NLFA home games and select league events
•    Train weekly in both technique and team choreography (schedule provided at tryouts)
•    Represent the league with confidence, class, and professionalism
•    Gain real skills and experience in branding, leadership, and performance production
•    Build lasting connections with coaches, dancers, and league professionals
•    Representing the NLFA mission with poise, energy, and purpose

Eligibility:

•    Must be 18+ with a diploma or GED by May 2025
•    Must be able to attend weekly rehearsals and scheduled appearances
•    Dance or cheer background is preferred, but not required — we'll train the right attitude! Come as you are. We'll coach the rest.
