The NLFA Decides on Reducing the Participation Age

by Nick Riley

The North Louisiana Football Alliance (NLFA) has made a significant decision to lower the age limit for participating players from 35 to 28. This adjustment signifies a strategic shift in their focus towards nurturing and developing younger athletes within the age range of 18 to 24 years old.

Regarding the transition period, the league is permitting players who were previously on an NLFA roster to participate in the upcoming season. However, there's an understanding that these players will part ways once the season concludes, aligning with the new age criteria set by the league.

This change suggests that the NLFA aims to prioritize the development and advancement of younger talents within their organization, possibly focusing on honing skills and fostering the growth of emerging athletes within the specified age bracket.
