Bossier City, LA - Late last week the NLFA made the decision to reenter its 4th season with only four of its teams including the activation of the Wranglers, and the temporary deactivation of the Rattlers. The NLFA hinted at a Cyclones return for the 2023 season but decided to keep the club inactive.

There were no changes to the projected 6 regular-season game schedule, however, there will now be a BYE week per team. Also, some changes to the leagues' post-season format came to light as the top 2 teams will now compete in the NLFA Championship game, with a playoff option if there are two teams tied for the number 2 seed.
