NLFA Actively Recruiting Coaches for 2026 Season

Bossier City, LA – The North Louisiana Football Alliance (NLFA), a developmental football showcase league based in the Ark-La-Tex region, has officially opened its 2026 coaching recruitment campaign.

With a renewed focus on player development, mentorship, and community leadership, the league is seeking passionate, knowledgeable coaches to help lead its growing roster of post-high school athletes. The NLFA operates a centralized league model, with all games and practices hosted in a single location to streamline evaluation for scouts and coaches alike.

“We’re not just looking for clipboard carriers,” said NLFA Founder and President Holland Witherspoon. “We want leaders—people who care about developing talent, building character, and providing structure to young men who are working toward the next level in life and football.”

The NLFA is currently accepting applications for:

  • Head Coaches
  • Position Coaches (Offense, Defense, Special Teams)
  • Player Development Assistants
  • Mentorship Staff

Ideal candidates should have previous coaching or playing experience at the Little League,  middle/high school (non-faculty), JUCO, or college-level coaching intern experience. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and dedication to working with young athletes are essential.

The spring showcase format (March–May) offers a limited but intensive season, ideal for community leaders, aspiring coaches, or those looking to build their résumés with meaningful experience and film access.
