Former NLFA Coach Spencer Naber Finds Success Through Life Skills Partnership

BOSSIER CITY, La. — The North Louisiana Football Alliance (NLFA) believes that success isn't measured only by what happens on the football field—it's measured by the opportunities created beyond it.

Former NLFA coach Spencer Naber is a prime example of that mission in action.

When Naber first joined the North Louisiana Football Alliance, his goal was simple: give back to the game by coaching and mentoring young athletes. Like many people balancing a passion for football with the realities of everyday life, he was also looking for opportunities to strengthen his career and provide additional financial stability.

Through the NLFA's Life Skills & Workforce Development Program, Spencer connected with SRT Sales & Training, one of the league's workforce development partners. The program introduced him to the automotive sales industry, where he received professional sales training and the opportunity to pursue a new career path.

Today, Spencer has turned that opportunity into an impressive success story.

He is now one of the top-performing sales professionals at Landers Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Bossier City, Louisiana, demonstrating that the same qualities that make great coaches and athletes—discipline, communication, work ethic, and the ability to build relationships—also create outstanding professionals in the business world.

"Spencer's journey reflects exactly what the NLFA is striving to accomplish," said NLFA President and Founder Holland Witherspoon. "Football may open the door, but our mission is to help people build successful careers and successful lives. Spencer embraced that opportunity, and we're incredibly proud of what he has accomplished."

The NLFA's Life Skills Program was established to ensure participants leave the organization with more than game film and football experience. Through partnerships with organizations such as SRT Sales & Training, Landers Dodge, Bossier Parish Community College's EMPWR LA, and Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College, the league provides pathways into employment, workforce training, mentorship, and career development.

For Spencer Naber, that vision became reality.

His story serves as a reminder that the North Louisiana Football Alliance is about more than developing football players—it is about developing future leaders, professionals, and productive members of the community.

As the NLFA continues to expand its workforce development initiatives, success stories like Spencer's demonstrate the lasting impact that can be achieved when athletics and career opportunities come together with a shared purpose.
