
NLFA Week 1 Recap: Lumberjacks Edge Roughnecks in Overtime Defensive Showdown
Week 1 of the NLFA season kicked off with an absolute battle between the Roughnecks and the Lumberjacks, setting the tone for what promises to be a hard-fought season. In a game dominated by defensive grit and physical play, the Lumberjacks came out on top in overtime with a 15-6 victory.
The Lumberjacks struck first and held onto the lead through three quarters. The Roughnecks, led by a determined rookie squad, fought back late in the 4th quarter to tie the game and send it into overtime.
