North Louisiana Football Alliance – 2026 Repositioning Announcement
OFFICIAL STATEMENT
Over the past several seasons, the North Louisiana Football Alliance (NLFA) has grown, adapted, and learned valuable lessons about our role in the Ark-La-Tex athletic community.
As football opportunities continue to evolve in our region — including the rise of professional arena programs such as the Louisiana Rouxgaroux of the National Arena League — we want to clearly define who we are and what we are not.
The NLFA is not a professional arena team.
We are not a semi-pro entertainment league.
We are not a short-term tryout camp.
The NLFA is a structured post-graduate development program for young men ages 18–24 who are navigating life after high school.
Our mission is simple:
To provide competitive football, mentorship, discipline, and workforce direction for young adults seeking structure, growth, and opportunity.
While we are proud that several NLFA players and coaches have advanced to professional opportunities, professional placement is only one piece of our purpose.
The NLFA exists to prepare athletes — not just for the next level of football — but for the next level of life.
That includes:
• Workforce development partnerships
• Trade school opportunities
• Life skills education
• Community service
• Leadership growth
• Professional exposure when earned
We celebrate every athlete who earns a professional opportunity. At the same time, we recognize that long-term success is defined by stability, employment, character, and contribution to community.
Moving forward, the NLFA is recommitting to its core identity:
A bridge program.
A developmental platform.
A structured environment for growth.
Our 2026 season represents a new chapter — one built on clarity, sustainability, and long-term impact.
To our players:
This league is about development, accountability, and preparation.
To our families:
This league is about structure, mentorship, and opportunity.
To our community partners:
This league is about strengthening the regional workforce while preserving competitive athletics.
We are proud of where we’ve been.
We are focused on where we’re going.
And we are committed to building something that lasts.
