Official NLFA Statement on Week 3 Forfeit
The North Louisiana Football Alliance (NLFA) regrets to announce that the scheduled matchup between the Wranglers and Lumberjacks on March 28, 2026, has been officially ruled a forfeit.
This decision was made after it was determined that multiple players failed to meet league participation requirements, preventing a complete and competitive roster.
As a developmental football program, the NLFA is committed to providing a structured, reliable, and professional environment for athletes, coaches, and fans. While we understand that players have responsibilities outside of football, participation in the NLFA requires a level of commitment and accountability that must be upheld to maintain the integrity of the league.
Effective immediately, the league is implementing enhanced participation and roster accountability standards to ensure that all teams are prepared to compete each week. These measures are designed to protect the experience of committed players and to strengthen the overall quality and consistency of competition.
The NLFA remains focused on its mission to develop athletes and provide exposure opportunities to the next level. We will continue working to build a culture that reflects that mission—one rooted in commitment, discipline, and opportunity.
We appreciate the continued support of our fans, partners, and community as we move forward.
