The NLFA Announces Key Dates for the 2026 Season

The North Louisiana Football Alliance (NLFA) is proud to announce important upcoming dates for the 2026 season as preparations continue for another competitive spring of developmental football in the Ark-La-Tex region.

The 2026 season will officially begin with the NLFA Player Selection Weekend on January 31, 2026. This league-wide selection process will determine the initial team rosters and coaching assignments across all six NLFA teams, marking the first major step toward the upcoming season.

Following player selection, the NLFA calendar includes several key milestones:

• January 10 – First Day of Training Camp, including onboarding and secondary player orientation

• February 2 – First Round of NLFA Gear and Team Uniform Orders

• February 6 – Leaguewide Practices Begin

• February 7 – NLFA Officials and Coaches Meetings

• February 23 – Second and Final Round of NLFA Gear and Team Uniform Orders

• March 14 – Opening Day of the 2026 NLFA Regular Season

• May 16 – NLFA Elite Game
